2009

• REBNY Deal of the Year
  Janet Weiner, Executive Vice President in Halstead's Village office, won Second Place for the Deal of the Year award. This prestigious honor was presented at REBNY's annual Deal of the Year event in October 2009.
• REBNY Deal of the Year
  The Third Place for Deal of the Year was awarded to Sandra Lauer, Vice President in Halstead's East Side office. Lauer also won the First Place for the Deal of the Year in 2005.
• REBNY Rental Deal of the Year
  Senad Ahmetovic, a Senior Vice President in Halstead's Midtown office, was awarded the First Place for the Rental Deal of the Year.
• REBNY Rookie of the Year
  For the second consecutive year, an Agent with Halstead Property was presented with the Most Promising Rookie of the Year Award. Renee Fishman, an Associate Broker in Halstead's Westside office, was presented with the award at REBNY's annual Deal of the Year Event.
• WebAward
  For the fourth consecutive year, Halstead.com was awarded the Web Marketing Association's Web Award for Outstanding Achievement in Website Development, competing against more than 2,000 entries from 45 countries.
• Kenneth R. Gerrety Humanitarian Award
  Diane M. Ramirez, President of Halstead Property, was named as the recipient of the Kenneth R. Gerrety Humanitarian Award by The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). With more than 30 years in the residential real estate business, Ramirez earned the award for both her unwavering commitment to the real estate industry and tireless efforts with REBNY but also for her genuine interest in improving the community as a whole. The Kenneth R. Gerrety Humanitarian Award celebrates the memory of Mr. Gerrety who served with distinction as REBNY's Executive Vice President for 18 years and gave valuable community service to his hometown of Garden City, N.Y. Established in 1989, the Award has honored such luminaries in the real estate field including Larry A. Silverstein, Jerry I. Speyer and Douglas Durst.

2008

• Henry Forster Award
  John Wollberg, Director of Sales for the Eastside office, was presented with the Henry Forster Award at the 2008 Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) Deal of the Year Gala. Halstead Property President and former Henry Forster winner Diane M. Ramirez presented Wollberg with the prestigious lifetime achievement award. The Henry Forster award is the top accolade in the industry recognizing outstanding achievement in the residential real estate market, outstanding ethical conduct in the profession and contributions to cultural, charitable and community organizations within and outside the industry.
• REBNY Deal of the Year
  Dan Danielli, Senior Vice President in the Eastside office, won the First Place award for the Deal of the Year by REBNY. Presented at the REBNY Deal of the Year Gala in October 2008, this marks the fourth consecutive year that Halstead Property has won the First Place.
• REBNY Deal of the Year
  Norman Horowitz, Executive Vice President in our Village office, and Gary Friedland were awarded Second Place for the Deal of the Year. The award was presented at the REBNY Deal of the Year Gala in October 2008.
• REBNY Deal of the Year
  The Third Place was presented to three Halstead agents in the Westside office: Judy Oston, Senior Vice President; Don Correia, Senior Vice President and Ruth Yeskel. This marks the first time in REBNY history that a company has won the First, Second and Third Place for the Deal of the Year Award.
• REBNY Rookie of the Year
  REBNY presented Ari Harkov, an Associate Broker in our Village office, with the Most Promising Rookie of the Year Award. Harkov met the criteria set by REBNY which included: the ability to originate, analyze, negotiate and close deals; displayed leadership qualities with good teamwork skills and industry participation; exhibited sound moral character and high ethical professional behavior; and made significant monetary contributions to firm’s success.

  Halstead.com was awarded the Web Marketing Association’s Web Award for Outstanding Achievement in Website Development for the third straight year, competing against hundreds of nationwide entrants in the category of real estate websites.
• Raíces Prize Awarded - The Magazine Real Estate of the World
  Halstead Property awarded by Raíces Magazine for being one of the 300 most solid real estate companies in the world as regards brand image. Raíces is one of the few magazines in the worlkd which simultaneously reaches America, Europe, Dubai, Tokyo, India and Shanghai showing the world the real estate projects, so that local and foreign investors can learn about them.
• Internet Advertising Competition Web Award
  Halstead Property and its Marketing Division were awarded 'Best Online Campaign Award' for the Real Access to New York co-branded campaign on Halstead.com. Award presented by the Web Marketing Association for their 2008 Internet Advertising Competition.
• Leading Real Estate Companies of the World^TM Award
  Halstead Property and its Marketing Division were awarded 'Company Brand Advertising Award' for the Real Access to New York online initiative, competing against more than 600 entrants from 35 countries.
• Luxury Portfolio Conference Award
  Halstead.com was awarded ‘Best Website’ Award for the Best Real Estate Website, competing against global 700 member entrants from over 17 countries. Award provided by Luxury Portfolio at the Luxury Portfolio SUMMIT in Boca Raton, FL at the Boca Raton Resort and Club.
• Luxury Portfolio Conference Award
  Halstead Property and its Marketing Division were awarded 1st Place 'Company Brand Advertising Award' for the Best Real Estate Corporate Advertising Creative, competing against 700 firms from more than 17 countries. Award presented by Luxury Portfolio at the Luxury Portfolio SUMMIT in Boca Raton, FL at the Boca Raton Resort and Club.
• Luxury Portfolio Conference Award
  Halstead Property and its Marketing Division were awarded 2nd Place 'Luxury Property Advertising Award' for the Best Real Estate Property Advertising, competing against 700 firms from more than 17 countries. Award presented by Luxury Portfolio at the Luxury Portfolio SUMMIT in Boca Raton, FL at the Boca Raton Resort and Club.
• Mann of the Year Top Agent Award
  Executive Vice President, Louise Phillips Forbes, awarded 'Mann of the Year Award for Top Agent of the Year', competing against all New York City residential sales agents.

2007

• Henry Forster Award
  Diane Ramirez, President, was awarded the Henry Forster Award for Lifetime Achievement, the top accolade in the industry for outstanding achievement in the residential real estate market, but also for outstanding ethical conduct in the profession and contributions to cultural, charitable, and community organizations within and outside the industry.   Dean Feldman, Executive Vice President, and Edith K. Meyer awarded 1st Place Deal of the Year Award for Top Residential Sales Deal by the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). Award was presented at the REBNY Deal of the Year Gala in October 2007. This marks the third straight year that Halstead Property has won the 1st place honor and also marks the second time for Feldman who won the award in 1997 as well.
• REBNY Deal of the Year Award
  Linda VanderWoude awarded 2nd Place Deal of the Year Award for Top Residential Sales Deal. Award was presented at the REBNY Deal of the Year Gala in October 2007. This marks the first time in REBNY history that a company has won both first and second place for the Deal of the Year.
• Best of CitySearch Award
  Halstead Property awarded "Audience Choice - Best New York Real Estate Agency" by the voting New York City public according to Citysearch.com, competing against all New York City residential real estate agencies. This is the second straight year that Halstead Property has won this award.

  Halstead Property was awarded Mann of the Year Award for 'Top Real Estate Firm of the Year,' competing against all New York City residential sales agencies.

2006

• REBNY Deal of the Year Award
  Elizabeth Sahlman, Senior Vice President, awarded 1st Place Deal of the Year for Top Residential Sales Deal. Award was presented at the REBNY Deal of the Year Gala in October 2006. This marks the second straight year Halstead Property has won the honor.
• Best of CitySearch Award
  Halstead Property was awarded 'Audience Choice - Best New York Real Estate Agency' by the voting New York City public according to Citysearch.com, competing against all New York City residential real estate agencies.

  Halstead Property received official mayoral proclamation from Mayor Michael Bloomberg declaring April 5th "Real Estate Appreciation Day", which is the same day of Halstead Property's Re-branding Launch. Proclamation presented by Deputy Mayor Pat Lancaster.
