Mr. Zeckendorf is an owner and Co-Chairman of Terra Holdings, a company that owns and operates several real estate service firms including the Halstead companies, which is a residential brokerage company with more than 600 brokers throughout the New York City area and a residential management company serving over 80 buildings; and the Brown Harris Stevens companies, one of the oldest and largest residential and commercial real estate service providers in New York City, with a staff of over 400 people and over 530 brokers operating in two states. The Terra Holdings principals are also participants in the Vanderbilt insurance brokerage companies. Mr. Zeckendorf is also an Owner, Founder and Co-Chairman of Zeckendorf Realty, L.P., with his brother Arthur Zeckendorf. In connection with Zeckendorf Realty, L.P., Mr. Zeckendorf has been involved in many areas of the real estate business.

These activities include the development of approximately one billion dollars of real estate projects including 2,000 condominium apartments. Mr. Zeckendorf has been in the real estate business for over 19 years and has focused on real estate development and acquisitions, as well as the purchase and management of real estate service companies.

As Co-Chairman of Halstead, Mr. Zeckendorf helps to oversee the seven operating divisions of Halstead with a specific focus on the residential brokerage operations.

Zeckendorf Realty, L.P.'s most notable current project is the development of 515 Park Avenue. Messrs. Zeckendorf are co-managing general partners, developers and owners of this project along with their partner, The Whitehall Fund, a proprietary investment fund managed by Goldman Sachs & Co. 515 Park Avenue is a 43-story condominium in Manhattan, the most luxurious apartment house built in over 50 years. 515 Park Avenue has established records for the highest priced residential property per square foot in Manhattan history.

In February of 1999, Messrs. Zeckendorf also closed with Whitehall and the Starwood Opportunity Fund the $70,000,000 purchase of all remaining residential and retail units of the Gotham condominium. Sales have already commenced with approximately 100 residential units being sold in the first four months.

In 1995, Messrs. Zeckendorf also developed the Millennium Tower, a 75-unit condominium at the top of the Lincoln Square condominium, in partnership with Sumitomo Real Estate Sales and Goldman Sachs & Co. Also through Zeckendorf Realty, L.P. they have been active since 1994 in numerous marketing and sales efforts including the sales of third parties of CitySpire, the Ansonia and the Mondrian condominiums. These buildings had total sales exceeding $200,000,000. Since 1994, Messrs. Arthur and William Zeckendorf have been principals in approximately $200,000,000 of real estate development and acquisitions.

In addition to his activities at Zeckendorf Realty, L.P. and Brown Harris Stevens, Mr. Zeckendorf is a trustee of Long Island University, a member of the Advisory Board of Christie's Great Estates, the Realty Foundation of New York and the Eugene Lang College of the New School. Mr. Zeckendorf is a 1980 graduate of Tufts University and a 1984 graduate of the Harvard Business School.
