Goldine Eismann

Goldine Eismann's career as a marketing and public relations consultant for a wide variety of corporate and cultural clients spanned a few decades and provided a natural segue into the field of residential real estate sales. A native New Yorker, she was educated at Hunter College and received a Master's Degree in publishing from New York University. Initially an entertainment and theatrical publicist, her client base expanded to include those in the fields of fashion, publishing and the arts. She introduced new products, handled countless special events, fairs and expositions. Eventually, she developed a diverse portfolio of major not-for-profit organizations and institutions, earning a well-regarded reputation for creating high-profile media and marketing campaigns in support of her clients' fund-raising goals.

In 1998, Goldine embarked on her real estate career following a lifestyle change that enabled her to try small-town life as a year-round resident of the Hamptons. Her well-honed communications and problem-solving skills were put into play while representing home owners and negotiating sales in upscale resort communities on the East End of Long Island. In June, 2004 she returned to the city after selling her own home and entered the exciting condo and coop market, seemingly at the height of its frenzy. This invaluable experience led to an on site sales position in 2007 with Halstead Property Development. In three years she sold some $40M new development condominiums in Harlem, first at the Langston, 68 Bradhurst Avenue (more than $19M in a nine month period) and at the Kalahari, 40 West 116th Street ($18M from November 2008 through September, 2009). Between these extraordinary assignments and in a changing market, she demonstrated her outstanding sales skills on behalf of new developments at 111 Central Park North, 257 West 117th Street and others.

In addition to working at full warp for most of her life, Goldine was for seventeen years an appointee of two governors, serving as president of the Board of Visitors of Manhattan Psychiatric Center. A patient advocate with oversight capabilities, she interacted with numerous local, state and federal elected officials and government agencies. In the Hamptons she gave her time and continues to serve as a volunteer for many of the area's most prestigious charitable and social events, including wildlife and animal rescue funds. Currently she is involved with the Big Sister Big Brother organization in Manhattan, as a mentor to a grade school child.

The challenges of the New York real estate market are the test of a true professional and Goldine loves facing up to these challenges with her special brand of enthusiasm, market knowledge and love of the city. “While some think the cliché 'location, location, location' is key to selling residential real estate, she prefers her own triple-L philosophy—'listen, listen, listen.'

Goldine Eismann has recently joined the Halstead Midtown Office and looks forward to serving your real estate needs by sharing with you the benefits of her experience and expertise.
